No matter if you are a weathered old sea dog or a stoked young grom, the one thing we need to do every now and again is pinch ourselves to remind us what a beautiful world we’ve chosen to live in as surfers and travellers. There are many ways to spend your time on this planet, but truthfully once you start surfing you enter a world that is filled with a beauty that is visual, spiritual and tangible. From the Wild Coast to the West Coast, awesome people and awesome surf spots like, Wacky Point, Nahoon Reef, Seal Point, Victoria Bay, Vleesbaai, Crayfish Factory, Dunes, Outer Kom, Heaven, Elands Bay and Samson’s Bak ……… don’t want to give all the stoke spots away…… Being a traveller and surfer is subline form of blessing.  There is no need to over-intellectualise this, but it is prudent to pause every now and again and give thanks. Woeskus is a distillation of thoughts and images from some of the most talented, passionate and committed surfers in Cape Town. We tell their stories and share the passion. Woeskus is not just for the surfer but for the whole family. I hope that by sharing their observations we’ll remind you of just how lucky we are to be in Cape Town.
